To put it more clearly, it seems like memecoins are transitioning into utility-based projects through their setup. We’ve seen examples like Goat, Ai16Z, and Cerebro attempting this, but it seems HIVE has taken things to a whole new level. With DeFi utilities and AI integration, it’s even set to be part of the Solana hackathon.
This is nothing but good news. It is high time that memecoins start leaving the useless things behind and start getting serious. Hopefully this reduces the amount of useless memecoins we see because they do nothing but clog the community and make it more difficult to find the real useful ones. I have to say though that among the new ones, I have not seen a lot of ones that are hyped because of its utility case so I guess we should wait a little more for a memecoin to rise and serve purpose to the people.
