The target of 197 runs given by Barisal at the end of 20 overs was quite a tough target for Rangpur Riders but to fulfill this target in the end is really unbelievable. After watching the batting, we thought maybe Fortune Barisal would win but Nurul Hasan Sohan took away the victory from Fortune Barisal and gifted it to Rangpur Riders.
I'm not watching the BPL matches much. But some players of Bangladesh are doing a lot better in this season. BCB has made the boundaries too small in this time. We may see a lot of high scoring matches for that in this season. But it won't help BCB to get valuable players from the BPL. Those players of Bangladesh are showing powerful performances who can't even hit a single boundary in the international matches.
I agree with you to some extent. Usually one of the main objectives of organizing these premier leagues is to find new talented players. But I have serious doubts whether BCB will be able to find new talented players.
I have watched several matches of BPL. This year's BPL has become quite lively and exciting. The teams are playing quite well and we are seeing high scoring matches. But in most of the matches we are seeing that foreign players and senior Bangladeshi players are performing well. New or young players are not getting much opportunity and are not able to perform well. So the chances of Bangladesh Cricket Board finding new talented players from BPL are very low.
