Everyone thought that with the arrival of Arne Slot, Liverpool would become a mid-table team again, but with their current performances they are one of the serious title contenders for both EPL and UCL. Even though Liverpool's management has been unsuccessful and stingy in terms of transfers, they should be appreciated for their choice of manager. Arne Slot, who many people heard of after he came to Liverpool and didn't find attractive after Klopp, is managing to crush his rivals with a squad that is inferior to his rivals. You have to admire the Liverpool management in this respect. I hope they stop skimping on transfers and we will see Liverpool with both EPL and UCL trophies at the end of the season.
Actually the standard klop did set before leaving Liverpool was just high enough that most persons persons weren't seeing Slot as someone that could fit in the picture for after klop has left. its really interesting that currently Liverpool is like one of the best in the premier league this season, and they have been able to show that in the premier league and beyond they are maintaining same performance and so they are even a good contender even in the champions league and not just the premier league alone unlike some other teams whos got a good performance probably limited to a particular league and do poorly in other major leagues.
