I personally don't feel that a situation like the pandemic will likely occur.
The virus has definitely become a serious issue in China and they should consider starting a lockdown.
But to be honest, I don't think it will become a major issue in other countries.
I beg to differ with your point here as the Indian stock market has been in red. I don't think that it is all about correction as they NIFTY today went down by more that 4%.
The cases are increasing and the government is still in the phase wherein they are hiding all information related to the virus.
I only know one thing that this virus will kill those who have less immunity. For example it target kids below 15 years and old who are above 65 years.
Don't wait for the WHO or the government to respond to this issue as they did the same thing when COVID-19 came here. Please take precautions as we did when we were in the China virus pandemic.
There could be several factors affecting the stock markets falling price.
While it's good to take precautions as a safety measure but there's no need to panic as of yet I believe.
I just did a little search and came to know that the HMPV virus has been around since 2001 (which is a reliever).
Let's wait until the dust settles and we should be back on track in a few months.
