I believe there is a new update on this thread and it is different from the previous one.So we need to create a new thread because this event is an annual event, but let Gazeta and Porf answer the questions.

At first I thought the same as you did, that it's a separate post. But when I realize the message said "update" that's when I started having doubts. Furthermore, porf didn't add the topic in "Translation in progress" which made my doubts more.
Anyway, it's better if they cleared the confusion.
If I'm not wrong, what Gazeta meant is to update the existing ones, and not to create a new thread. For example in my language Spanish the existing topic was created by another user years ago (Csmiami) and we're waiting to see if he updates it first of all.
Only in the case of missing languages, I think that a new one could be created.
