In this season only Liverpool have consistent and better performance than big four premier league teams such as Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea have losses many points. But Manchester City although drop outside from the big four teams still have bigger opportunity reaching back to the higher standings behind six points remaining awhile with Arsenal on 2nd standings position awhile.
Actually Manchester City have return back to top performance after two consecutives winning against Leicester City and West Ham United with two upcoming match will face mediocre teams Brentford and Ipswich Town get bigger chance to secure three points.
Liverpool have built an unswerving defense making it tough for opponents to penetrate, I'm considering their next game with Nottingham forest a plus although forest's recent five straight win performance is a threat, but the reds would hold them down. As for Man City they'll need more wins to climb on to that top 4, which relies on the results of the first four teams.
Liverpool can show consistent play every week, that is their main capital so they are difficult to beat. Apart from their defeat in the EFL and when they had to draw when facing Manchester United, overall they did play well.
But there is something that also bothers me, yes it is the question of whether they will be able to play consistently until the end of the season or not. Because if we go back to the previous season, they always declined when the season was about to end. even though it was a crucial moment and they actually lost a lot of points at a crucial moment like that.
Liverpool is doing better than all the teams in the league that is why you could see their position and their results getting better every week but they need to work of their performance and their coach should try not to get a defeat in their next match because it will affect the team as they have dropped points against Manchester United in the league before losing against Tottenham in the EFL cup. The consistency of the team matters if they want to win the league title this season, moreover Manchester City and Arsenal is not performing well to compete with them so I doubt if Chelsea and Nottingham Forest will be able to stop them from winning the league this season.
Liverpool has been know for a team that usually starts underperforming when they get to the most important part of the season along side with Arsenal but under the management of a new manager I don't think they will repeat sushi mistake this season especially when the other teams that make up the big 4 are not doing so well.
