It doesn't mean the Gambling addicts increased, the internet enabled the Gambling more accessible for wider audience
increase in popularity also doesn’t mean it’s all thanks to addicts a lot of us here gamble does it mean we are all gambling addicts? no of course not but it doesn’t take away the fact that many people find it enjoyable to gamble

Well, if the number of users has grown and will continue to grow, it is logical to think that the number of addicts has grown and will continue to grow in terms of the total, but the percentage will normally be approximately the same.

Here I would also take into account pseudo-problematic behaviors, that is, people who could not be categorized as having a serious problem but who at specific moments in a session got red-faced and lost more than they could afford that month, or played for longer than they had planned, things like that. If you look at the statistics of a casino it is difficult to know what gives more money but in any case the question is to worry that the casino is full and then the HE does the rest.
