Newcastle striker Alexander Isak have won the English Premier League Player Of The Month award from December as well the as Best Goal of the Month award. Personally, I felt he deserved it more than any one else after his stellar performances for his club last month. His stunning goal against Manchester United in their 3:3 draw last month earned him the award for best goal of the month which helped the swedish striker win double awards in December. The Player of the Month award this season is indeed deserved, Alexander Isak played well, he even managed to bring Newcastle to a more consistent victory. In his last 5 appearances with Newcastle, he never failed to score a goal, he even managed to score a hat trick, when facing Ipswich.
Alexander Isak performed better this season by scoring more goals and assists. and with his young age, he can still continue to improve his sharpness as a striker. and with his good performance, now several clubs are starting to be interested in bringing him in, and one of them is Chelsea. The Blues are currently losing their consistency, so they still need new ammunition to strengthen the depth of the squad, especially for the front line.
