I find it difficult to believe that Mikel Arteta spent such a significant of money in the transfer market yet still struggles to find quality replacement for key players in important position this highlight a lack of technical planning and precision in their transfer dealings. Arsenal should adopt a more deliberate and focused approach to their transfers. They need to identify their primary target early and make decisive move to secure them.
Arsenal seems to be confused about what they are focused on. On the other side, Arteta needs a cover player to replace the long-injured a player like Saka, but on other side, he need a new attacker to cover barren players like Gabriel Martinelli dan Kai Havertz. Arsenal try to recruit Isak, but Newcastle immediately restrict that player to arsenal because both will meet on leg 2 semifinal carabao cup, so if he goes there, that possible will turn things around to be complicated. Now, arsenal must be managed what they were looking for, I think the big problem to fix it asap is the quarterback. Arsenal must recruit new player to replace Saka, and adding ammunition on center fields.
Rather than recruiting players who already have a name, I see Arteta could be better when he develops young players, and that's what actually brought him this far. So this must be thought about by Arteta, some of the players he brought in did not show the contribution according to expectations, not bad, but could not significantly lift the team's performance either.
So maybe he can do options such as looking for young players, or recommending young players to be part of their squad. But the risk is that the process will definitely be quite long and can also be successful or not, but he must be able to decide something.
When you talk about Mikel arteta bringing in younger players into the squad from the academy, what I was asking myself is that will arsenal be able to wait for them to mature and be ready?
Because I know for a fact that when blending younger players from the academy into the squad, it takes a whole lot of time, and sometimes it wouldn't work out as expected just as you have already said in your statement, so the best approach to me is that due to the fact that arsenal are gunning for the title and they can't afford to be patient with any player right now, they just have to enter into the transfer market and buy someone that is ready, someone that can improve the team immediately, someone that can replace Saka and a pure central forwarder to lead their attack, than thinking of bringing in younger players that are mere experiment, which they can't afford to do right now, because anymore slip up will surely be detrimental in the quest for the title, so if they really want to compete, they should go into the transfer market and acquire who is ready and can improve their team immediately.
