I totally agree with you about how Arsenal buys players. Team has spent a lot of money on new players in last few years but they have not always played as well as expected. To really make team stronger Arsenal needs to be smarter about who they buy. They should choose players who fit with coach plan. Also as you said they need to make their backup players stronger. This will help them keep playing well even when their best players get hurt or are too tired. If Arsenal can do this they will be able to reach their full potential and have long term success.
Arsenal are not just lucky with the league, they have gotten all that’s required for them to win the premier league title for about two seasons now. Their coach has been very exceptional including the players and it’s just a matter of time for them now. They got the chance before and misused it and gave the opportunity to Manchester City while some opportunities comes just once, I hope this come again for them. They just need to be more consistent when they’re already getting to win the trophy, they should not relent and fight more and that’s what has been their major problem for not winning the trophies in two occasions now. I hope things change for the better for them soon.
This season so far, I haven’t found them wanting that much and I could not say if they’re in a better position for the league title with the way Liverpool have dominated the league and are looking to take the league title this season after outperforming both Arsenal and Manchester City in performance this season. They can still continue with the title race since it’s very much opened and they may have another chance for the league title if possible and we see Liverpool performance reducing before the end of the season which may likely not be possible, but the fight goes on till the end of the season.
