He really deserves the award because he has made his club Nottingham Forest look impressive this season and achieved consecutive wins in December, achieving consecutive wins in the Premier League is not easy because the competition in the EPL is very tight while Liverpool who have collected more points they did not achieve consecutive wins like Nottingham Forest did so he should get appreciation for his hard work.
Appreciation for a fairly hard work does need to be given because as you said that competing and getting consecutive wins in the Premier League is not a very easy job for every team, but what Nottingham Forest has achieved has really made many people wonder and currently the team is one of the teams that is able to compete in the top four zone with other strong teams. But I can't wait to see how Nottingham Forest's condition is when they meet Liverpool in the near future, because if Nottingham Forest can win again in this upcoming match, of course they are really extraordinary this season.
Surprises like this sometimes do happen even though in the EPL actually things like this are quite rare but in the end what Nottingham did this season is still very possible to happen and of course this is a good thing because Nottingham is now like a dark horse club that is ready to compete in the race for position in the top 4 even though they are still quite far away for the trophy.
Previously we always saw some clubs like Leicester even though they were destroyed in the last 2 seasons and made them relegated, or some other clubs like Aston Villa, Brighton and Newcastle in the previous few seasons but for now it seems like this is the season for Nottingham Forrest.
They have a pretty average squad but it's the hard work, good chemistry and now improved mentality that has made Nottingham this season truly out of this world. It will be great if they can continue to be consistent like this until the end of the season but even if they can't be too consistent but I think they are still very good and there is no denying that things like this become an interesting entertainment for the hot competition.
