However, in today's match, the performance of Dhaka's bowlers as well as the batsmen was very good.
Dhaka's two openers Liton and Tanjid both scored centuries. Tanjid scored 108 runs from 64 balls and Liton was unbeaten by scoring 125 runs from 55 balls. Dhaka was able to give a huge target of 255 runs today. This is the highest score in BPL so far, there is no possibility of Dhaka's defeat by giving such a big target.
For the first time in this season, I can see Dhaka's bowlers bowling well in today's match. Rajshahi has collected 104 runs by losing 8 wickets in 15 overs. Dhaka will win this match by a big margin today.
It is very good to see Dhaka win their first match in this BPL season. They had very bad start losing their first six matches but they played very well today. In their last few matches Dhaka batting was okay but their bowling was not good. But today both their batting and bowling were much better. Two of their players, Liton and Tanjid played very well which helped Dhaka score big total of 254 runs. This was very hard target for Rajshahi to reach. And they made only 105 runs.
How is this performance? If we review the past matches, we can easily understand that the Dhaka team does not have good bowlers or good batsmen they lost all the previous matches but what happened in today's match is that they were able to give a target of 254 runs without losing any wickets. The match was so bad that it is not worth saying. One team only batted and the other team only lost wickets and ended the game before the allotted overs. There was no excitement in the match. Moreover, with today's good performance, I cannot be sure that the Dhaka team has really come into form. They have become an unpredictable team. There is no guarantee that Dhaka will win the next match.
