Litton Das has played 6 matches in this BPL season. He has only performed well in the last two BPL matches. His performance was average in the first match, then he batted pathetically in the next three matches. Overall, his performance is still below average stage.
However, I have doubts about how effectiveness Soumya Sarkar will be as an opener for the Bangladesh team. Because I am not satisfied with his performance in recent matches, except only the score of 73 runs against West Indies. Moreover, his situation is also very similar to Liton Das.
The performance of Soumya Sarkar was a lot better than Litton Das in the recent matches (both ODI and T20I format). He is missing the BPL matches though for being injured. I think Soumya Sarkar is a good choice for the Champions Trophy squad of Bangladesh.
