It is normal to talk more about Chelsea than Arsenal when discussing inconsistency in recent time because people already know that Arsenal is synonymous to inconsistency as they have shown in several seasons. There were seasons they will be leading the league with eight points gap from their closest rival but will still end up not winning the league. This is the reason I think people are no more bordered about Arsenal falling out of grace. On the other hand, Chelsea have been a more serious team when it comes to remaining focus to win a trophy. Late last year they were hot and consistently winning all their matches thereby making people think they could be aiming to win the EPL title this season. Unfortunately, they ran out of steam thereby disappointing the large number of people cheering them on including supporters of other clubs that love good football. This is where the complaint of people started for the Blues and it is justified.
