Personally, I’d be thrilled with a 5-10x overall gain, though I do have a few altcoins I’m planning to hold longer, aiming for the possibility of a 30x or even more.
I don't know why people aren't using the data to determine when they should exit from the altcoins in this season. You need to have exit plan both for bitcoin and altcoin. While I would want to keep bitcoin for the long term and may hold in the bear market too, I would like to exit altcoins in profit in this bull season.
We should watch the Bitcoin dominance and then plan a strategy. Current B. dominance is 58.5. As soon as it reaches nearly 40, I would exit all of my altcoins position as I don't think it will go further beyond this level. It may go to 35 too but that will be risky to wait for lower levels, at 40 B. Dom could be the best time to exit from alts.
