Change of mindset includes change of environment. Btw it's very bad to jump from one business to another every year because one year is a short time to succeed in business, it's also a short time to gain experience in your niche. When you run a business and it doesn't generate profit you have to ask yourself lots of questions, for example, how professional are people in your business niche? If you run an IT company and there aren't talented designers and developers in your country or city, then you shouldn't start an IT business.
One of the most important factors in business is the environment and corporate culture, which changes after the owners change their attitude toward the business and employees. If your business environment sucks, people hate coming to their workplace and your corporate culture kills their ambitions and makes their life terrible, then your business won't succeed. It's proven many times that the better working environment and corporate culture you create for your employees, the better your business succeeds.
