This is my preference.

Family matters more than how much you receive. If you lose your family in pursuit of money you will realize that no amount of money you have or economic status you achieve can buy genuine family love. Be there for your kids and your wife. That's really what there is to life.

You were not created to slave away at your job in pursuit of money. If you die while at it, you will be replaced immediately.

Family must be our first preference and should be given priority over everything else. We need money not only for ourself but for family also. This is also a bitter reality of life that for money we have to work and for more money we have to work more. We need to find a balance between how much time we have to give to family vs time for work. Because to live a happy life with our family we need to money. Work so that you have enough money to feed your family and this work should not eat the necessary time for your family. That's what I think.
