Do not mind this. You can come up with a thread like this on local board, but you do not need to mention or suggest any user to be selected. The voting is going good and I noticed some people (even that are not Nigerians) selected us. The awareness here is good but the suggestion is not necessary. Also some users may feel like other users also are worth it and may which to select them, not bad if to select them is what that comes to their mind.
I respect you to understand the meaning of campaign sir, anyone that has contrary opinion as regards to the content in the OP can open their own separate thread. Besides everyone has the right to their personal judgement so it's not as if am trying to impose these aforementioned users to the local board. It's just a personal campaign from my end. Anyways, thank you for your opinion.
OP you're are on a right track as far as the originator of the major thread has given a go ahead to that effect then you're good to go, mentinoning name or names as the case may be is part of campaign and as a matter of clarity and fact that's part of campaign itself, if a campaigner doesn't mantion name how would people know who he or she is supporting or even campaigning for, is just like signature campaigns too, if you don't have the signature intact and flag on you then you aren't a campaigner of any signature campaign, so op i somuch. Love this initiative of yours, it's a good one.
OP you aren't in anyway forcing anyone not at all personally I didn't see it that way though individual perception differs but I believe that our boss @charles-Tim understands you too.
Yeah i agree to this statement cause i don't think this thread is in any way relating to imposing the mentioned names to this board since everyone has a right to choose, no one is a kid here so i believe we all know the right decision to make concerning our choice based on the award, moreover the originator of the thread made it clear that everyone has the right to open their own thread and campaign for any member they feel is worthy enough for the award. However, i think there are several members of this board that might not be aware of the ongoing voting outside the board so this thread is a way of creating awareness to them so as to participate if they're eligible, the aforementioned names are very good and reputable pioneers of this board and left for me I'll pick them as well cause they deserve the award.
