I think even if you go to the dealership they’ll still just have you use the website to place an order. There isn’t any difference. You could go to a dealership and ask them though. They’ll let you use a referral.
The $2,000 off was only until the end of the year though. Right now the discount is only $1,000. Still better than nothing.
I haven't been on a dealership yet but I watched some Youtube videos and you're right, they also signed through the website.
