Isn't the period chosen for voting too long? It could have been done in 1 month. Or were 2 months specifically chosen so that we could enjoy this event?

For obvious reasons.I wish we could end the voting process today- this is a one time event of the year, IMO the 60 days voting time is enough to get every on board and also enough time for OP to give us another awesome event.
