In my view older people use land based casinos  basically  as networking places rather then for the gambling purpose. it's been my observation that they spend more time on converse with others rather than on gambling itself. Probably some of them act as mentors who help inexperienced
gamblers to enhance their skills. ^{I saw such old mentors at gambling pits.}
