First I already had it in mind that Manchester United where going to win the game because of their seemingly advantages attacking force being more than Southampton, but on the long run as the game was going on when Southampton scored that goal and I saw how devastating Manchester United central and attacking midfield where, almost lost hope because the game was drifting towards closing time before Amad Diallo started bringing in the goals. Amad Diallo scoring hat-trick for united was something I never envisaged about around that time of the game, sincerely the match was really intriguing.
It seems incredible to me that Manchester United won because I enjoyed the half-time play of this match, where Manchester United were trailing. Then I thought they might lose this match but they came out at the end and won this match with a great performance. Manchester United's players are showing signs of improvement in their performances, as they drew a match against a strong Liverpool team earlier and today they won against Southampton.
But it was even more surprising that one of their team's players scored a hat-trick, essentially the player who made the most significant contribution to his team's victory. Maybe this is how they are slowly trying to get back on a winning streak.
If you say that Manchester united are slowly trying to get back then I will agree with you, but however they played against a team that is at the bottom of the table, we all expected a win that would be so easy, Southampton has been on losing spree so one could easily predict the outcome, nevertheless that wasn't the outcome as Southampton took an early lead that would have made them go home with the 3 points, even at some point I nearly lost hope that Manchester united will come back into the game not until they eventually did, That's why they usually say that "in football is never really over until it's over", a minute can make tremendous changes and that's was the Hallmark of that game last night.
