The number of poor people in the world is more than rich. If the poor cannot function properly, then all the businesses in the world will stop. Because all the big companies spread their services among the poor. I can say that the poor are the key to the economy. Usually, when a disaster starts in a country, the rich are not affected much. The rich do not have any problem even if the prices of goods are high. They fulfill all their needs even during that recession. But this picture is completely different among the poor. When they are subjected to recession, they refrain from buying their necessary things even if they want to, which is why the wheels of the economy are obstructed because the number of poor people is about 80 percent more than the rich. If the poor do not have money or if the poor cannot function properly, then there is no chance of the economic situation getting better there.
The problem isn't that we have more poor people than rich, that is just how it works, you can't have more rich than poor, there isn't enough money to make that happen.
However, the problem is that we have more and more poor people now, and the fact is that we just do not have the system to make that go away, capitalism is what we have in almost all major nations, and everyone keeps saying it is the best one, and their defense is always the same, "communism doesn't work", well yeah, that's obvious, but not like capitalism is working neither, sure it is the best we have, but obviously the best we have isn't working neither, we need something else but nobody has came up with anything that is better than what we are doing right now, so we are forced to watch as the world has more and more people are poor, and eventually more people will be homeless and starving, and that's just the system we live in.
Some will defend like "if they graduated from college and worked for peanuts for decade before they can earn survival wage and live pay check to pay check, they wouldn't be in this situation" to all those poor, without realizing the irony in it.
