I wonder where would Manchester United have been this season if not for Amad, maybe in the relegation zone. Manchester United failed to live up to expectations in the Southampton match as they struggled to convert chances, if not for a brilliant solo effort from Amad Diallo that gifted Manchester United the maximum points in what would have been a disappointing outing. I hope that Manchester United gives him a much improved contract extension with a significant rise in his wages because he deserves it.
From the last game against Southampton, it is obvious that Manchester United have not settled their problems. They would have lost the game and the result would have been advise since they might have started going close to the relegation zone. United dominated the games and created many goal scoring opportunities but were not clinical until Amad Diallo performed those miracles. It's now two wins in two games for United and we hope Ruben Amorim will be able to reassure the fans and club management that he was indeed the right choice for the job.
We all know that Amad was the hero of the match between Manchester United and Southampton and we give him all the flowers, but do not forget that it is a team effort. Where was Amad from the beginning of the match until the 80th minutes when he started to score.
You shouldn't forget to applaud the coach for making a beautiful substitution that brought in Zirkzee and Eriksen who in their brilliance helped change the match. When we watch football, we should try and watch it in it's entirety and not a part of it and understand it partially.
