Now I am surprised to see that I was right with my prediction. Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel's partnership was the last good partnership and then everything became a history. Only Sajid Khan scored 18 runs and they only managed to score 230 runs. What's more, I was shocked to see that West Indies were not able to take a lead even though it was a small target. The batting collapse happened in both innings but Rizwan and Saud Shakeel made the difference here.
The opening of the 2nd innings looks good so far. Pakistan should score at least three hundred runs if they want to win the match. 400 runs will be a good target in this wicket.
You are overestimating West Indies way too much. You seem to forget the fact that this series is taking place in Pakistan which is why they always have the upper hand and the Windies batting lineup is pretty low quality.
West Indies team is unpredictable. They perform well in some matches and do so badly in some other matches that it is beyond imagination. If the performance of the cricketers of a team is not consistent, then it can be useless to expect anything good from them. I consider West Indies as a good team but when they are a reputable face in T20 cricket but lose a series against a normal team and get whitewashed, then it will be difficult for anyone to expect anything good from them. They don't have a good reputation in Test and ODI cricket. Of these two teams, Pakistan is the better one and they can perform better at their own venue. That is why I don't expect much from West Indies. I will also not be surprised if they give such an unexpected performance to win a few matches in these series.
