Of course, United management will support Amorim if they want a fast transformation of the team, because that's the only way things will work out fast for us to see what Amorim gat for the club. I am not expecting too much from him this season,because he needs time to fix the club and get some additional players of his choice to strengthen the club. Next season will tell better.
Giving more time to a new coach like Amorim is a very reasonable thing because basically it is not easy to make a team run on a stronger path when the team has been slumped by the previous coach.
