You just need to be able to expand your horizons and be able to find new activities and hobbies. If someone has only a job and gambling and this is all his leisure time, then such a person is doomed to the abyss. You need to meet with friends, it's free, but their words heal better than any therapy, you need to be able to ask your loved ones for support, and then the gambler is unlikely to get bogged down in uncontrolled play, and as a result, lose all his savings. In general, you need to be able to find and understand something new for yourself.
Yes, we need to search for more positive activities and hobbies so our minds will not tells us to playing gambling every time we have a spare time. We will not thinks to use gambling to fills our spare time because we know the risks behind playing gambling and we avoids losing much money. We can control ourselves when playing gambling and when we playing gambling with our friends, we always reminds each other not to playing gambling excessively. But when we thinks that we are slowly begin excessively in gambling, we can ask for a help from our family or friends so they can guide us to reduce our gambling activity. They can invite us to do other thinks and trying to control our minds.
