I did the same on another casino but luckily for me it turned out ok and I didn't loose any tokens but I would never gamble again with tokens that give out a dividend as I love passive income While people might gamble away with the dividends they get, they will also earn more tokens which will result in even more dividend later on.
I guess it all depends on how someone gambles... The math is clear, we need a lot of tokens to have a significant passive income, and to have a lot of tokens we have to wager a lot. While we are wagering there is a significant chance that we will end up losing a lot of money... if we don't wager enough and don't earn enough tokens and lose a few hundred (thousands in some cases I am sure) dollars it will take us a long time (years) to get any significant money from staking. I needed weeks (if not a whole month) to get to $10.3.
The ideal situation is when we play and win, then the tokens are a nice addition... but how often do people win in the long run while wagering thousands of dollars?
