If you are looking for a coin to hold long term, I recommend focusing on bitcoin only.
It can be said that everything has risks and nothing is 100% safe but I can assure that bitcoin is the most reliable coin in the market and worth our trust. The rest of the market and we collectively call altcoins, regardless of what coin it is and who created it, even the president...are not reliable to hold long term.
There is nothing wrong if you want to invest in altcoins, memes, shitcoins...or TRUMP tokens that interest you. But to be safe, only speculate on them, don't consider them as a reliable long term holding coin like bitcoin, bitcoin is unique.
