But one question I have is will they stay like this until the end of the season? or bad things happen so that they experience another decline at a very important moment.
IMO, as long as Liverpool can qualify for the semifinals and not face Madrid, I believe Liverpool has a great chance to win the title and as long as Madrid does not qualify for the finals, Liverpool has a great chance.
If I look at Liverpool current performance, I see that Arne Slot team is serious in several competitions. On the one hand in the EPL, Liverpool has a safe position. So Liverpool can focus more on the UCL to keep their performance consistent.
I don't think there's anyone who can shy away from the fact that Liverpool are currently the best performing team in the UEFA Champions League competition this season so I agree with you that they're a strong candidate to win the European Cup at the end of the season. That said, i don't think Liverpool will be able to maintain their current form when the competition gets to the knockout stages because they'll be facing stronger teams who knows that losing a tie automatically eliminate them from the competition which will then force them to play at their best I still consider Real Madrid as a better favorite to win the UEFA Champions League competition this season ahead of Liverpool
If Liverpool can qualify for the final after scaling through the semi-finals they have high chances of winning the UEFA that is only if they won't be playing Madrid in the finals. Anceloti is a well experienced coach who can make crazy substitution at any moment especially when it seems the match isn't going to his favour.

Of all the teams in the UEFA champions league currently I think the only challenge Liverpool will have is defeating Madrid if they eventually clash but if Madrid gets eliminated before the finals or didn't have the opportunity to play Liverpool in the different elimination stages Liverpool might yet again lift their Champions league trophy
