I keep saying people overestimate the importance of Trump to bitcoin. I've been saying it since. First of all the 180 degrees Trump did on his view of bitcoin should tell everyone all they need to know. Bitcoin has become big and a lot of big corporations and venture capitalists are into bitcoin directly or indirectly so he won't want to piss those people off like Biden did by being against bitcoin. He did not favour bitcoin simply because he was a believer, he did that for his campaign.
I actually do not care why he turned around as long as it favours bitcoin, but people need to stop acting like he's now at the centre of bitcoin.
Also, the delusion that Trump will focus on Bitcoin needs to stop. He would focus on so many more important things, and in the grand scheme of things, Bitcoin is relatively insignificant. I doubt he would even put that much focus on his own coin because he has people who handle that; he's not going it directly.
All I just want to say is that Trump's supporters give him so many passes. There are things other leaders or candidates will do or say and people would tear them apart, some things Trump does are career-ending things for others but not with Trump. Somehow, he always gets a pass for everything he does. Everyone should be held in the same high standards they hold others.
