This footballer in the Italian Serie A could face a four-year ban from all football competitions for his alleged involvement in match fixing. It is not just him alone, the Diego Giordano, a 40-year-old pizzeria owner in Udine could also face sanctions.

How did the match fixing happen? The player who is a goalie was booked for time-wasting in the 64th minute during one of the games in March 2024.  Time wasting is a type of match fixing in addition to those from the ref and other officials.

As a football bettor, I don't gamble or waste my money on leagues that are not popular, it's either I go for the Champions League, Laliga, Premier League and occasional Bundesliga. The other times are for international games but I don't do much on that since international games are short, it's difficult to predict. These are the leagues I do bet my money on just to avoid all these kind of tricks to make innocent gamblers lose money for something they know nothing about.

I checked the goalie age and he just 25, he would have done better in his career and further go to any other great clubs where his value and dreams are going to be seen worldwide but chose to do something like this. If he is found guilty, then he deserves all kind of punishment that comes later because in every action, there should be equal and opposite reaction, the casino are also losing money because of these bad practices that are happening in casino.
