Bitcoin has its own flaws, but you won't have to wait for 1-2 days if you send a transaction using optimal fees depending on the state of the mempool. Most of these networks came in promising to process so many transactions per second and that they would beat Bitcoin a thousand times over but guess what? All has always been a complete fail up to now!

There was Ethereum, who even ended up abandoning the POW for the centralized leaning POS

And then the other copycats along the way, and then solana. I know you know what has been going on with the network congestions.

Exactly. No other coin can beat the King. Most cryptocurrencies sacrifice decentralization in favor of performance. SUI is no exception. It's nothing but full of hype. Same as Solana, TON, and XRP. People want convenience on top of everything else (low fees, faster confirmation times), so they won't care about this. So long as these "shitcoins" continue to work without interruptions, nothing else matters. The day they experience an outage or network disruption, it will be the day when people will start whining and look for other alternatives. That's the way it works.

SUI uses the same scaling technique and programming language for smart contracts as APTOS, anyways. I don't get what the hype is all about. I'd diversify my investment just to be safe. Cheesy
