By “safe” bets (hence the quotation marks

) I mean bets with odds of less than 1.2. These bets are usually only worthwhile in combination bets if you combine several such “safe” bets. This actually worked very well last season, where you actually had 2-3 games with such good odds in almost every round, at least with Dortmund and with discounts on Bayern.
I get your point, though i can't confirm that. Whenever i put together a combination like that, that is of games with low odds, i don't get enough luck. You know you have to take at least 5 or more of such games if you want the odds to be 'reasonable', except you want to stake very high, then you can keep it to 2-3 games. My point is the more games you add, the lesser the chance of winning in such combination.
That's true of course, you have to combine a few games here to get very high odds. However, I usually never include more than 3 games in my combination bets, the odds then range from 1.75 to 2.00. For example, here are my tips for tonight in the UEFA Champions League:

The odds of the opposing team are very high in each case, so I would have seen them as "safe" bets so far. Let's see if that works out tonight. With my recent luck, I don't think so.
