Wolves gave a tough fight in the first half and they were able to match Chelsea's game which continued to press, but entering the second half Chelsea's performance was much better and they started to find their rhythm and managed to secure full points. A win in this match is very important because Chelsea moved back up to fourth place and are now four points behind Nottingham Forest and Arsenal because Chelsea lost momentum in maintaining the positive trend in the previous five games. Manchester City are below Chelsea so there will be tighter competition and Chelsea must perform better if they don't want to be replaced by Manchester City in fourth place.
In this match the Chelsea players really played a very good game, especially in the second half. Because as we know in the first half Chelsea were still having difficulty finding the perfect rhythm of their game. But in the second half Chelsea managed to dominate the match and created many opportunities so they were able to score 2 additional goals. But even though Chelsea won this match, Chelsea's journey to remain safe in the top four positions in the English league is still quite difficult. Because as we know, Chelsea currently has a fairly narrow point difference with Manchester City, which is in fifth position, namely only 2 points. Therefore, Chelsea players must train even harder to be able to continue to get good results and be able to make their team's point difference away from Manchester City.
And next week's match will certainly be a determining factor for Chelsea, whether they will stay in fourth position or experience another decline to fifth position in the Premier League. Because next week Chelsea will compete against Manchester City. I think this match will be quite difficult for Chelsea. Because even though Manchester City's performance is currently in poor condition, I am sure Manchester City will not let Chelsea take the three points easily in this match. So Chelsea really has to prepare a good strategy to win the match against Manchester City next week.
This is home match for Manchester City which i am sure they will be targetting win result but not impossible for Chelsea to beat Manchester City at Ettihad because previously some teams such as Manchester United and Tottenham can able to do that so what i want to say is Chelsea too has the opportunity to beat Manchester City but they have low chances to do that
