Chelsea got their footing after going 5 matches without a win, it's been really a pretty bad weeks for Chelsea over these periods, playing and not getting the desired results even after playing well. Last night they got a win after 5 matches. They got two goals in the second half after playing a 1 all draw in the first. Although Wolves are just one position off the relegation zone, I don't see it as a clear test for Chelsea. Their match against Manchester City will prove if they are getting back on track truly.
I don't think Chelsea can stand a chance against man city current form, playing against wolves was quite easy for them because wolves are not in a good form at the. Moment, Their victory against the away team was expected. But losing five matches in a row isn't really a good record enough to play against Manchester city but my best guess is that the game between both teams would end as a draw. Manchester city also needs that game to give them a boost so it's not going to be any easy game for both teams, but I would go with Manchester city to win or draw.
After 5 games without a win in the Premier League, of course the victory means a lot to them, Wolves actually played impressively in that match and were even able to trouble the game shown by Chelsea, but indeed a collective game and a better mentality were able to make Chelsea rise in the second half to end match with victory.
It is too early for us to judge if a victory in one match has made them rise to return to the winning track, But I think getting a win after a series of negative results will usually make the mentality and confidence of the players improve again to face the next match, so if we talk about the match between Manchester City vs Chelsea, I think what we need to ask at the moment is: can Manchester City beat Chelsea with their inconsistency which is actually worse than Chelsea at the moment?
