It wasn't that all that rosey for Chelsea today as wolves gave them a run for their money. I think Chelsea knew that this match was a must win for them and any other thing aside a victory could have been dangerous. It's a pity seeing wolves lose two games in a row, they have some quality set of players that on a good day and with a tactics that works can do what Nottingham Forest is doing presently.
Wolves gave a tough fight in the first half and they were able to match Chelsea's game which continued to press, but entering the second half Chelsea's performance was much better and they started to find their rhythm and managed to secure full points. A win in this match is very important because Chelsea moved back up to fourth place and are now four points behind Nottingham Forest and Arsenal because Chelsea lost momentum in maintaining the positive trend in the previous five games. Manchester City are below Chelsea so there will be tighter competition and Chelsea must perform better if they don't want to be replaced by Manchester City in fourth place.
Wolves did very well by holding Chelsea to 1-1 draw in the first half, they were quite impressive as well as coordinated and that was why they were able to get back into the game after Chelsea took the lead in the first half but on the second half they lost concentration due to the intense pressure from Chelsea which saw them concede two goals later in the second half, with goals coming from from cucurella and madueke to secure the match points for Chelsea. It was really obvious that Chelsea were the most desperate in this game knowing that they had lost quite some important points as a results of the drawn games so they had to beat Wolverhampton to keep their hopes of finishing at the top four alive because right now the competition is getting more intense by the day.
