I don't think Haaland can overtake the Egyptian in this contest but nobody knows what might happen from now till the end of next month. But I'm certain that Haaland is still going to struggle to be at the top, goals are not coming like it used to for him and even the smaller teams he hardly get to see a goal then in bigger games he stays quiet btill full time. Salah on the other hand has a better chance of increasing the amount of goals he has than Haaland because he always gets involve in every game Liverpool has, even the likes of Isak and some of the players on the list.
Haaland is just lucky to play along side some of the best creative midfielders and under a coach like Pep Guardiola if not he'll be behind like 9th position and not 2nd. Back on Salah, this is one of his best season he played without missing out on any game due to injury (I think) so I'll give it to him to be the highest goal scorer before the end of the campaign except someone like Cole Palmer takes it upon himself to start scoring like 4 goals in a game, we know he can do it.
No one currently can predict about who is going to be top scorer because 16 rounds left in this season and both are at his best which is giving them good chance of having good fight for this spot.

Mohammad Salah from start of this season at his best and keeping Liverpool at the top of league table through is performance while Haaland is also now back on his best after having few bad results and poor run of his performance now things could be not easy in Premier League for staying at the top.

If we have no injury for any top player then fans will be having one of the fierce fight for top score because Isak and Palmer both are also giving their best and having good chance of staying in touch for top spot with their teams are also fighting for top spots.

Salah is doing pretty well and I hope it continues because if he should be off the pitch for any reason then Liverpool are in trouble and the Haaland you said is back to form is not that true, it shows that Haaland form is equally the same as Manchester City's form, if they play bad Haaland becomes worse so I can't agree with you that he's back because City need to win like 4-5 games before we can conclude that they're back, same to Haaland and he lacks that scoring spirit these days so you can agree with me on thst. These guys I mean Isak and Palmer are too good this very season especially Isak, as an attacker he always deliver, if he doesn't score an assist will definitely come in and same goes to Palmer, he has been the back bone of Chelsea for long but I think he should be given some time off like not entirely but starting him from the bench.
