That's what it means. The son, Donald Trump Jnr, also retweeted a tweet about the memecoin from the father's X account.Bitcoin don't need anything from politicians except friendly policies. Trump wants to make America great and his family richer.
As funny as the bolded part may seem, it might be true. 
Are you sure he is pro-crypto, he only started showing interest in crypto during his campaign, couldn't it be that he only did that because he wanted to win the election, and now he and his wife are simply creating meme coins just to make money from it.
One has to start from somewhere. So let's take it that he is because of those sweet speeches he gave about Bitcoin during his presidential campaign. However, time will tell if we got played or not.
