Why would you send Gill down when he's doing a good job as an opener? So far, he hasn't put a wrong foot in ODI so there is no need for any fix at the top. A natural transition will follow once Rohit goes (Hope, soon) and Jaiswal will get his deserving debut in the ODI.
It was more like I want Jaiswal desperately in the team, so suggested may be Gill can step down in order to make room for him. Regarding Jaiswal's ODI debut, pretty sure it'll happen in England series.
Seems like players are not happy with the new BCI guidelines especially the one separating their family while travelling. 
But it's brave call from the management which is needed to have discipline among the group which is really important to get the best out of dressing room environment.

IMO it's a boomer call (Family on tours), although I agree that family shouldn't be allowed for complete 2-3 months but at the same time family is important and a 15-20 days timeline shouldn't be a discussion point. But it's brave call from the management which is needed to have discipline among the group which is really important to get the best out of dressing room environment.

Both teams are stacked up with gun battling line up and they bat deep as low as number 8 so it should be a big scoring game and the ground is small as well. Dew could play some part in the second inning though.
