So in a way those particular terrorists acted as every countries advertisement for oppression. Sad but true.
I wholeheartedly agree. They only managed to make our lives more complicated. Easiest example? Think of security checks at airports - how they became unbearable. Besides, of course, providing excuses for control freak governments to do essentially whatever they fancy with basic civil liberties. And what did they obtain for their cause? Bombings and international hostility for whatever has "Muslim" in its name.
A proper attack is not a World Trade Center attack but a Luigi precise attack.

Let the relevant individuals live in justified terror - not everyone else. They could have gained half of the popular support Luigi seems to still have.
Let us not forget that Luigi stated no bombings so as to protect the innocent. A woman stood less than five feet fro that shooting and fully witnessed it . Luigi did not even point his guy at her.
Maybe in 24 years time Luigi will be forgotten or maybe he will be seen as the turning point for humanity.
