Another use of bots in the gambling industry is in analysis and predictions based on available statistics and history. You wouldn’t get into trouble with these as they don’t cheat the system but, leaves with with possibilities for decision making.
Well, I also agree that sometimes in some cases bots can good good analysis based on available data but it's still always best to use those to make your own predictions and not heavily rely on the predictions that they generate based on previous matches data.
I took some help from AI bots a few months back to test how reliable their prediction is and to be honest it was really bad.
I lost some bets only because I trusted those bots but it was basically a test to see if such predictions work or not, however I must say the bets were done with real money. Although, I didn't lose a lot but still I got an idea that relying purely on those bots is not the way to go.
