Statistically they look the same, so this is really not an easy match for them. Both Chelsea and Manchester City need a win to maintain their position. But in terms of appearance, they can also be said to be the same when we look at their statistics in the English League this season.

After seeing Manchester City's performance at the champions league this evening, I begin to have some doubts in their abilities to be able to possibly win this game, if we do a quick look back at last season's performance against Chelsea, you will agree with me that Chelsea was at their worse and City at their best yet Chelsea didn't loose to City and now the reverse is the case, I'm not expecting any less, maybe a magic may save the day but currently it doesn't look like City have got the magician and as for the blues they have their confidence at it's peak currently with slight inconsistencies, so let's see how it balances out
It is normal to feel that way but you must understand that the Champions League and the Premier League are two different competitions and if you use the performance of a team in one to judge in the other, you might make mistakes. If you watch Manchester City against Ipswich, you will be wondering if it was the same club that played PSG because the played better in the Premier League match than in the Champions League match. I don't think Chelsea will easily win Manchester City like most of you are suggesting, instead, it will be a very tough match.
