I will put my money on Chelsea for this match. City's defense is way too shaky right now and I feel like Chelsea will capitalize on that as long as their forwards put on their boots. It would be disappointing if they made many chances but failed to score goals and suffered another defeat/draw like many matches before this. On the other hand, City needs to win this to get their confidence back, but that's hard to see if their mental strength is good enough after suffering another comeback. They need more players to turn things around, especially defensive players.
That's where the problem lies. Manchester City defense maybe porous at the moment but does Chelsea have attackers that would take advantage of the porosity? Absolutely No. Suppose Chelsea have clinical players in their front line, I would have also bet on them to win because we've seen yet another performance from Manchester City yesterday which shows that they're yet to recover from their slump as we assumed after their recent big win against Ipswich Town.
However, If Jackson would be the one leading Chelsea attack, I really won't expect anything much from them because he will end up messing up precious chances as usual. Moreover, Chelsea defense is also not that solid and I bet you Haaland won't spare any slight opportunity to score. I think City still have a chance to win here or probably a draw at least.
