Dortmund's decision to fire Nuri Sahin was a very right decision because the club was getting worse when coached by Nuri Sahin, the club had lost trust because Dortmund's poor results had not been resolved in 2 major competitions of course it was unacceptable and worried that the club would get worse.
The performance has been very disappointing for a team like Dortmund to be at 10th place at this time of the season, I was even more disappointed when I checked their form in recent games I was surprised to see the amount of losses they have had in recent games. It’s really not a bad decision to sack Nuri Sahin, the performance has been ver bad and there is no any sign of improvement in their games and it is better they try out other options if they want to improve
They have to change the pattern and may not sell some important players even though the price offered is high. Changing the coach is also not fully successful because sometimes this will actually make the conditions worse. They need to rebuild the team to be stronger and do not necessarily sell every player who shows an increase in performance for reasons of profit. If you want to rebuild the team to be stronger then it takes time because it is not easy to achieve success in a short time.
With how the team has been struggling recently they cannot think of selling out any players at least not in this January transfer window, doing so will only worsen their situation because having perfect replacement will not be easy at all.
Changing a coach is the best option for them because clearly Nuri Sahin has failed but even if they are bringing in a new coach they shouldn’t do so mid season it will not change anything and the new coach might struggle also. They should wait till after the end of the season to appoint a new coach and even if they sack Nuri Sahin they should only appoint an interim manager first to see them through the end of the season before appointing as new coach.
