The down side of this is very simple if crushing btc makes more money for him than boosting btc he will crush btc.
He will not go against BTC because that would mean that he is interfering in the business of very powerful players such as BlackRock or Fidelity - he will just mostly focus on his
"crypto" projects and extract the maximum profit from them, while at the same time BTC will be in the focus of those who invest in the long term.
