I agree to your point, Ten Hag isn't a coach that will successfully see a team through development and get them good success, I know some persons may want to argue that at Manchester united, he was able to achieve two trophies and that made him appear like a coach would can be addressed as a good one but if we look at his performance in depth we get to see that there's no tactical fluenc, it's just basically survival pase he's been going with and probably looked like he just got lucky and the Bundesliga has got a very fiercey approach that needs beyond just survival strategies if you must maximise results from the German Bundesliga.
If it was in some last few seasons, I would have said that Ten Hag will be able to manage a team in the Bundesliga using the survival strategy he employed when he was managing Manchester United. But in today’s Bundesliga competition, a lot of things have changed and he’ll need to do better than what he did at Manchester United if he’s given a club to manage here now, that’s the only way for him to survive long in here. Ten Hag two trophies won at Manchester United should be accolades to him, without the hardwork he had put into the games, he won’t have prevailed and won anything during his time there.
Dortmund is in the tenth place in the Bundesliga points table. Out of 18 matches, Dortmund has won 7 matches and lost 7 matches. In the last season, Dortmund lost 7 matches out of 34 matches. From this, it can be understood that Dortmund is in a very bad position this season. Dortmund is 7 points behind Stuttgart, which is in the fourth place in the table. It is also very difficult for Dortmund to qualify for the Champions League.
This statistics already shows the current dilapidated form that Dortmund are in now and they really need a rescue at this point or they may end up having their worst season so far in many years I have knows them in the Bundesliga. Their number of losses for last season equating to that already in the mid season is not really paving way for them to finish this season in a good position. I still commend them for reliving the coach off his duties, they just need to get a new one to put them back on track before it gets too late.
