Competing for the Scudetto title is no longer possible for Juventus because they are currently behind in terms of the race. There are many clubs that they might have to pass in terms of points so in Juventus' condition it will be very difficult. Juventus can target the top five by the end of the season because that is much more feasible for them to achieve than the Scudetto. Juventus have drawn so many games this season that it has made it increasingly difficult for Juventus to catch up on points so their chances are very slim. The title race is certainly over for Juventus because so far they have not found their best form and I think chasing a position in the Champions League is their choice.
What's actually happening to Juventus? They no longer fit into the category of winning games, they just have tougher atmosphere. Winning the scudetto does come with planned formation and not some random strategies. It will take Juventus couple of years to bounce back to elite form because there's presence of other tough rivals. Juventus coach, Thiago Motta is competent for his role and there's no way he's holding back, he will keep the pressure on until he reaches full potentials. The Old lady's are 5th position and this is credible stats for them to keep fighting. Juventus will make signings of prominent players this season, I'm confident about this phase.
What happened to juventus this season does look strange but also very tragic in my opinion, they became the only not yet unbeaten team this season but it did precisely not support them as one of the scudetto contenders this season Grin, unbeaten with consecutive draws has actually made them currently slumped and even only able to fight to secure a place in the top 4 zone, in terms of the scudetto it's clearly impossible for them to get and  even to be able to end the season in the top 4 zone might also be difficult for them, because of the tight competition that exists at this time from other teams, but even so, I think motta has so far built juventus quite well in his first season of coaching.
