Amorim has made his wishes known to the club recently that he needs funds to make player purchases. In an article I read he sent clear warning to the management of the club that if Anthony must leave there must be a good replacement for him. Honestly I think it is time for the club management to work in cooperation with Amorim to bring the change desired, Amorim is an ambitious coach and he looks to know what he wants and what he is doing, he should be given benefit of doubt and the finances to make that change happen.
A player leaves, another player can join and it is very normal demand for a head coach. Anthony has several seasons in Manchester United but failed, I can say he failed, to show his best and over years his contributions for them are very limited. If Amorim wants Anthony staying in the club, and has his plans to use this player, I am doubtful that he will succeed with Anthony. The player seems to reach his limit and can not contribute more for the club and perhaps it's better for all if they have agreement for his departure.
The fact that Antony was bought for 100 million is insane. I really can't believe that they spent 100 on him, not even like a small mistake, this is a HUGE mistake and of course he should leave and leave a space behind him because let's face it he turns out to be not a United level player, not a premier league level player, I would question if he should be starting level at a top championship team, more like midtable. In the end, Amorim of course needs players, but at the same time I am asking you, if he spends a bunch of money on getting great players, is that like somehow his talent to make the team better after that?
I mean if you give me bunch of amazing players, I would do fine too, I believe all of us here could make Real Madrid top three for example, because you literally need nothing, just tell which 11 and make them go out, that's it. So United should not give him a huge huge funds to transfer, just make him do whatever he can with a small budget.
