Dortmund's performance is really bad to be sincere. At this stage of the season, they shouldn’t be bad this way. I expected Dortmund to be one of the teams that will be at the top of the season, but up until now there have been no changes that look like they are going to be better this season. Although I don’t really know the main problem Dortmund is facing at this point, is it from the coach or from the players?
It's kind of something difficult for me to know, but since they have already decided to fire Nuri Suhin as their manager, maybe we will see positive changes if they hire a new manager. Although I know that it takes a long while before a new manager will be able to change a team's performance as everybody is expecting it, so I feel like Dortmund already messed up this season till next season again.
While they are definitely bad, I wouldn't put the entire blame on the manager, makes no sense. Of course Nuri Sahin was responsible for being bad, a bit, like even if you give half the reason to him, the other half is the players. Remember, its the players that get out and play, not the manager, so when a success happens, its not entirely managers success, and when a failure happens, its not entirely the manager neither.
I would say, since they are 10th and doing terrible at the moment, we should realize that this team wasn't some championship contender that ended up 10th because of the manager, I would say even if they hired the best, the best they could ever hope for would be fourth place this season, and that would have to be with the best ever manager, and why would best manager go to Dortmund anyways, they would be at some great teams. So in the end, whoever they replace, doesn't matter who they can afford to get, the result will not be too different.
